Hands-on videos of all the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy devices for its latest Unpacked showcase have leaked ahead of the launch. TechTalkTV combined them into a single video that combines the leaked clips and shows the devices being put through their paces.

Huawei has launched two new tablets in its home market of China. Called the Enjoy Tablet 2 and MatePad 10.8, the tablets feature the Kirin 710A and Kirin 990 chipsets respectively. Both devices will run EMUI 10.1 out of the box, but the MatePad 10.8 is the more premium of the two tablets.

Qualcomm has announced that its third fiscal quarter of 2020 (3FQ2020, which ended on June 28 of this year) ended with a total of US$4.89 billion in revenue. MediaTek has released a new 5G-ready SoC called the Dimensity 720. It consists of two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. The chip supports two carrier aggregation and sub-6GHz 5G networks. We can expect to see it debut alongside some mid-rangers later this year.

The second-generation Kano PC is now purchasable for US$299.99. The device, which is based around a Gemini Lake processor, comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The device has a distinctive design and is geared towards design, coding, science and music creation.

A new patent filed by Apple details a stylus, likely an Apple Pencil, that contains an embedded color sensor. Located in either the back end or tip of the Pencil, the color sensor would be able to scan and copy the color from real-world objects. While the patent looks interesting, it is not yet known whether or not Apple will actually use it in future products.

The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) supplies the silicon on which many OEMs' SoCs or devices are based, Huawei's included. However, the current US administration has issued an executive order that prevents the latter from conducting this kind of business. TSMC has stated that it is complying with the directive.

Samsung's 970 QVO internal SATA-based SSD and Samsung Portable SSD T7 are now available for purchase in India. The former is compatible with the SATA 6 Gbps interface, while the latter is optimized for USB Gen 3.2 ports. Prices start at INR 9,999 (US$133) for the 1TB variant of the 970 QVO. A 500GB version of the Portable SSD T7 also retails for the same amount.

Huawei is thought to have a new series of slates that consists of the MatePad T10 and T10s in the works. They are linked to the Kirin 710A processor and are, thus, thought to be budget devices on their launch. A new leak on Geekbench 4 suggests that at least one of them has 4GB of RAM and runs Android 10.

TSMC has outlined its fabrication plans for its 5nm fabrication process and what that means for investors in its latest conference call. EMUI 10.1 has reached 39 devices, Huawei has confirmed. The number, which includes Honor devices, features recent flagships like the Mate 30 and P30 series. EMUI 10.1 is a modest upgrade over EMUI 10 and is somewhat of a stopgap before the Android 11-based EMUI 11 arrives later this year.

A Samsung SM-T505 has been spotted on Geekbench 5; based on this model number, it is now projected to be the Galaxy Tab A7 (2020) on its launch. Its new benchmarking results include the novel Qualcomm code-name bengal, which may be a lower-end, albeit new, Snapdragon platform on its own debut.

Another render of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has leaked ahead of its expected release within the next few weeks. The new image details the premium tablet's Book Cover and S Pen accessories. The latter will likely come bundled with the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, but past performance suggests that the Book Cover will be sold separately for upwards of US$180.

Rumour has it that EMUI 11 and its Honor equivalent, Magic UI 4.0, will be based on HarmonyOS. Also known as Hongmeng OS, HarmonyOS is Huawei's proprietary operating system that it has already brought to several devices. Huawei reportedly plans to bring EMUI 11 and Magic UI 4.0 to upwards of 50 devices, too.

An industry insider states that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, indicating that Samsung has reserved the in-display option for the higher-end Galaxy Tab S7+. Renders and specs of the Huawei MatePad T10 and Huawei MatePad T10s have been leaked. The two new tablets from the Chinese OEM feature the 14nm Kirin 710A chipset and from 2 GB to 3 GB RAM depending on the model. No prices have been leaked, but the specs suggest the MatePad T10 and T10s will be budget tablets.

Now, a rumour has emerged that the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus will also be arriving on July 22 alongside the Galaxy Watch Active 3.

Samsung is all set to release two new tablets alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series on August 5. The Galaxy Tab S7+ will feature a 12.4-inch AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, a 10,000mAh battery that supports charging at 15W, new S-Pen features. It is also billed to run One UI 2.5 out of the box and come with a dual-camera setup.

The "easy-to-clean" 11.6-inch rugged tablet comes with three-year warranty as standard and a relatively bright 500-nit 1080p touchscreen designed for outdoor use and environmental abuse.

HarmoniQLabs is a company that has an in-house 3D-printing process to make its new TWS earbuds. The OEM claims that the resulting unique shape created is better for prolonged wear and for passive noise cancellation. These new accessories will launch via Indiegogo on July 13, 2020.

The current chief executive officers (CEOs) of Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon are reportedly required to appear before the United States' Congress later in July 2020. These events are apparently tied to proceedings related to antitrust practices. Their attendance has been confirmed by a member of this body representing the state of Rhode Island.
