MWC 2021 | The Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 is an interesting new mid-range prospect in the Android slate market
The new Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 has many potential advantages in common with its more premium 13 sibling. They share their series' hallmark barrel grip and in-built kickstand for multiple display (or even "hanging") modes; quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos; USB type-C for charging and data, and a more or less up-to-date Android 11 OS.
On the other hand, its smaller 11-inch display is 15:9 LCD rather than 16:10 LTPS, while its rear panel has a fabric accent rather than Alcantara in the Yoga Tab 13. In addition, it has a 7,700mAh battery, as opposed to 10,000mAh in its flagship counterpart. Then again, it has an 8MP rear camera, whereas the Tab 13 has none at all.
Furthermore, the MediaTek Helio G90T-powered 11 has Wi-Fi and 4G/LTE-enabled SKUs, whereas the Snapdragon 870-based 13 does not have these options. Therefore, Lenovo touts it as the most home entertainment-friendly member of the new Yoga Tab line. It will start at US$319.99 for a 4GB RAM SKU on its release, currently scheduled for August 2021.
