First Mi Pad 6 rumors suggest Xiaomi has unsurprisingly been inspired by Apple's 2021 iPad Pro
The Mi Pad 5 hasn’t even turned up yet and Digital Chat Station is already seemingly offering a clue to the direction of the potential Mi Pad 6. In what will be a surprise to nobody, it appears Xiaomi has taken some cues from Apple’s recently released iPad Pro and has been working on making sure the Mi Pad 6 offers users decent cameras, which is still something of a rarity for a tablet.
One of the aspects Apple highlighted about its 2021 iPad Pro was the camera equipment. The 5th Gen slate has three cameras, with a 12 MP front-facing sensor and a dual-camera system on the back. Apple has made sure that users of the current iPad Pro get treated to an enhanced camera system that delivers 2x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom, Center Stage feature, TrueDepth for Face ID, and plenty of other useful bells and whistles.
Apparently, Xiaomi wants to follow suit with the Mi Pad 6 (“next generation of tablets,” so likely not the Mi Pad 5 at this stage) and not just tack on a lackluster camera system as a last thought to a device where only the display and audio system have been properly considered. Additionally, it’s probable Xiaomi will stick to targeting the premium end of the tablet market with the eventual Mi Pad 6, as is widely believed will happen with the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5.
