Multiple ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini variants just showed up on Geekbench running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The top-of-the-line model has 16GB of RAM, while the scaled-down versions make do with 12GB and 8GB.

The system is hundreds of dollars cheaper than an Intel NUC. If you don't plan on running intensive applications or heavy graphics, then the Core i5-8259U-powered NucBox 2 will do the trick for your HTPC streaming purposes.

The Air 2S is the successor to the DJI Mavic Air 2, even if it has new and snappier branding. It also has a sensor of 1 inch in size, which outdoes its forebear by a good margin. The new CMOS supports up to 5.4K recording at up to 30fps, and allows for zooming while in flight. The DJI Air 2S starts for US$999 from now.

TCL has launched new smartphones at its latest press conference. They include the 20 Pro 5G, which offers this brand's NXTVISION 2.0 screen optimizations and the Snapdragon 750G processor. However, the 20 L and 20 L+ also have an interesting new feature to introduce: a new TÜV Rheinland-certified polarizing treatment designed to make their displays easier to use while wearing sunglasses.

Nvidia is reportedly working on a new GeForce RTX 3060 variant with enhanced anti-crypto protections. It will use a new GA106-302 GPU which will require completely new drivers. The new RTX 3060 variant is expected to hit shelves in May 2021.

Sony has released a new update for the PlayStation 5, its ninth-generation games console. The latest update is a big one and contains numerous fixes and improvements. Some of these include the ability to game at 1080p and 120 Hz, extended HDMI-CEC support and the option of disabling HDR, among others.

An alleged Geekbench record for the just-launched Sony Xperia 1 III has been shared on Reddit, showing the flagship smartphone surpassing the Samsung Galaxy S21 devices in both single-core and multi-core disciplines. The Xperia 1 III with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC completely overwhelms the Xperia 1 II with SD865.

At a current price of about 89 Euros (~$106), it's almost impossible to find anything cheaper than the Redmi 9AT. Amazon has announced its Echo Buds (2nd gen). The company claims to have addressed multiple issues customers had with their predecessors: they are now rated for better audio quality, active noise cancellation and fit in the ear. The Redmi Note 10 series is now available in India - on the other hand, it is missing its vanilla 5G variant. According to famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the 2022 iPhone line will include massive 48-megapixel sensors and will be able to record 8K video. Kuo also claims that Apple will kill off the Mini model that has so far struggled to sell.

Apple has been making misleading claims about the Pro Display XDR, according to The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in the UK. Now, Apple can no longer claim that the Pro Display XDR offers 'far beyond HDR' in the UK, although it continues to do so in the US and other countries. The same goes for the company implying that the display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Gigabyte has released a trio of AORUS gaming monitors, the AORUS FI32U, AORUS FV43U and the AORUS FO48U. All are 4K monitors with HDMI 2.1 ports, but only the flagship 48-inch model has an OLED panel. The three monitors should deliver excellent colour accuracy though, and can output at up to 144 Hz in most cases.

Samsung may have teased the announcement of a new Galaxy Book laptop, but Safety Korea has already revealed what the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 Convertible will look like. Both have 15-inch displays, number pads and are expected to feature Intel Tiger Lake-U series CPUs, along with optional NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPUs.

Sony has introduced two new Xperia premium phones — the Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III. Both phones sport largely similar specifications including the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC with the main differences being with respect to the display, storage options, wireless charging, and a 3D ToF camera. The highlight of this launch is the introduction of a variable telephoto lens that offers a focal length between 70 mm and 105 mm.

Apple is prepping an under-display Face ID system for its iPhones, according to renowned Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo. The system will debut in Apple’s 2023 models and will mean the elimination of the controversial display notch creating a true all-screen iPhone for the first time.

AMD has released its Ryzen 5000G and Ryzen 5000GE-series of desktop processors with integrated graphics. There are currently three SKUs in each series, with the Ryzen 7 5700G being the top-end model. AMD claims the new OEM-only Cezanne Zen 3 desktop APUs have “the world’s fastest graphics in a desktop processor” with the presence of up to a Radeon Vega 8 iGPU.

Motorola is geared to release its next budget device, the Moto G20, in the near future. Specs, features, and images of the phone have now been revealed, with a major talking point being the SoC—Motorola eschewing offerings from Qualcomm and MediaTek in favor of a UNISOC T700.

Sony has unveiled the Xperia 10 III, which builds on the Xperia 10 II. The Xperia 10 III retains its predecessor's design, but Sony has upgraded its battery capacity to 4,500 mAh. Additionally, the Snapdragon 665 from last year's model has been swapped out for a Snapdragon 690.
