Only a few days have passed since the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 leaked, but the upcoming 16-inch laptop has appeared online again, this time on Amazon China. Not only has Amazon China confirmed what the ROG Zephyrus M16 looks like from every angle, but it has shown what appears to be the top-spec model.
According to Amazon China, the ROG Zephyrus M16 weighs 1.8 kg and measures 203 x 305 x 199 mm, making it relatively compact for a 16-inch gaming laptop. Additionally, ASUS has equipped the M16 with a 180° hinge, and a webcam that sits above the display. It looks like the M16 has ASUS' AniMe Matrix display too, which sits within the device's display lid.
This may only be available in certain models though, of which the GU603HR shown may be one. Amazon China reiterates that the GU603HR has a 16:10 display that resolves at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels (WUXGA) and has a peak 165 Hz refresh rate. This is only true of the GU603HR variant though, as we covered last week.
Amazon China adds that the GU603HR will have 32 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM operating in dual-channel mode and a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Moreover, the GU603HR has an Intel Core i9-11900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. It is unknown when ASUS plans to unveil the ROG Zephyrus M16 officially. However, the fact that Amazon China has started listing SKUs suggests that the M16's launch date is not that far away.
