Enduring. Dell's little netbook adds color to the desk and can offer a very good battery life. At around 250 Euros (~$284), the laptop is on the same price level as its rivals.

Let down by the display. The third generation of the HP EliteBook 820 is a compact subnotebook with a 12.5-inch screen, which is designed for business environments. Our review configuration, however, is unbalanced, because besides good performance, you also get a very poor TN screen. Coil whining is a problem for the small notebook as well.

Enduring. The Ideapad is a 17.3-inch laptop for the desktop at home. It scores with low operating noise, temperatures, power consumption and a long battery life.

Lightweight. This is premium range business for well-heeled customers: The entire who-is-who of laptop technology is on-board for 2000 Euros (~$2252). Unfortunately, there is also some conservative equipment. A modern USB Type-C? - Not in sight. Compact gamer. The thin gaming notebook from Asus can convince with good features as well as measurements. The lack of an Ethernet port is unusual for a gaming notebook, but the device has a Thunderbolt 3 port instead.
