Small update, no effect?! Dell secretly updated its top seller: The XPS 13 is one of the first models that gets the latest Kaby Lake processors from Intel. The chassis does not appear to be changed, and the display is similar as well. We once again do a live review and will update the article continuously.

Skylake convertible. The Cube i7 offers a fast Core m3-6Y30 SoC, 64 GB SSD, and a 10.6-inch IPS touchscreen for little money. Logically, cutbacks had to be made in many places. We will reveal where concessions have to be accepted in this test of the tablet including a keyboard dock.

Pulled parking brake. Apart from its quiet operating noise, Acer's 15.6-inch device does not attract any attention. Unfortunately, the installed Core i5 processor cannot develop its full computing power.

The Killer AC 1535 is a high-end ac standard WLAN card, which offers numerous features, with special focus on gamers. In our review, features, such as, MU-MIMU, ExtremeRange and Advanced Stream Detect will be tested.

Disappointing screen. HP's mid-range business laptop pleases with decent input devices, solid casing, good battery life, and low system noise - unlike the Full HD panel that is a disappointment. We expect considerably more from a 1050 Euro (~$1179) laptop.

Too hot to handle. We revisit the Clevo P775DM1 as the Eurocom Sky X7E2 with an unlocked LGA 1151 CPU and the fastest Pascal GPU to date. Core temperatures and fan noise are both quite high as expected when such high TDP components are involved.

Tangled up in blue. The HP Notebook 15z is a run-of-the-mill, 15.6-inch notebook designed to fulfill basic needs. While it fails to stand out from the crowd, it offers "just enough" performance for everyday tasks and has no real significant shortcomings aside from a fairly high price.

An earful. The speakers most manufacturers integrate into their smartphones, tablets and even notebooks often leave something to be desired. One option is to hook up external speakers which can easily be connected via Bluetooth technology. We check three different speaker systems and evaluate their sound quality.

Lots of hardware for little money. Thanks to a GeForce GTX 950M and a cutting-edge Kaby Lake processor, Acer's Aspire E5-575G should render even sophisticated games smoothly - and this at a competitive price of just 600 Euros ($673). What is the catch?

Good Package. The Hewlett Packard Pavilion 15-aw004ng is an interesting notebook. The 15.6 inch allrounder packs a matte FHD screen, a SSD and an AMD dual graphics setup. The price for all these goodies: 550 Euros. A price like that for a packet like this can convince most buyers to look the other way when faced with certain flaws, such as, below-average battery life and a one year warranty.

Plain, yet Pascal. Gigabyte hasn’t changed much in their latest refresh of the P57 series gaming machines, but the big headliner here is the introduction of newer NVIDIA Pascal architecture GPUs. With a GTX 1070 in charge, is the P57X v6 likely to turn any heads?

Penny business. The Dell Latitude 3470 is a device that wants to attract users with its low price. Read our review to find out if this works.

Risky gamble. Infinite worlds, endless boredom - critics could easily sum up No Man's Sky with this sentence. We checked this game by British indie developer, Hello Games, on laptops and desktop PCs to see how it performs.

Silver companion! Lenovo presents another 14-inch lightweight that is furnished with a ULV processor and Intel Iris graphics. Its attempt to mingle in the premium range is not completely successful. Fade to white. Acer's entry-level E-series caters to users with more basic needs. The 15.6-inch notebook is a solid everyday performer held back by a less-than-stellar display panel and subpar battery life.

Successful desktop replacement. Acer delivers a well-equipped, 17.3-inch all-rounder for the home desk in the form of the Aspire E5-774g. The GeForce 940MX alongside a GDDR5 memory renders many games smoothly on the matte Full HD screen. However, the buyer has to fork up almost 1000 Euros (~$1122) for the total package.

Popular design. The CDK07 docking keyboard transforms the Cube i9 into a full-fledged convertible PC. The design of this dock is similar to that of the "Touch" cover from Microsoft. In this review, we will check how the docking keyboard fares in comparison to the Microsoft product and how good the Cube i9 is as a convertible PC.

A souped-up Y700. The higher-end Y900 feels unique with more features and better craftsmanship than its immediately Y700 predecessor. Unfortunately, its chiclet mechanical keyboard, loud pulsating fans, and high starting price leave a lot to be desired.

Keyboard fail. HP sends a 15-inch convertible from its x360 Pavilion lineup into the race. The competition has grown quite a bit in the past months - even if a high-rider is not among them, all opponents are at least relatively good. Can the Pavilion stand its ground with its inner values? Or will it fail thanks to its keyboard?

Well-rounded package. The Lenovo IdeaPad 510S-13ISK is a nice 13.3-inch subnotebook, which offers a Full HD IPS screen, a Skylake processor and a backlit keyboard. However, the battery should last longer.

Gigantic convertible. A 17-inch convertible? Why not? Anyone preferring the stationary use of Windows 10 in tablet mode should be absolutely happy with this somewhat unusual combination. However, the Inspiron also does a good job as a conventional office machine - only the keyboard could have been of a higher quality for this price.

Play with Pascal. Nexoc also upgrades to Nvidia's new Pascal architecture now and incorporates the GeForce GTX 1070 in a 17.3-inch notebook. High performance meets a high-end case and decent input devices. We were only bothered about the fans and the temperature increase.

Challenging the desktop. Desktop PC performance without compromises is what Schenker Technologies wants to achieve with its most expensive gaming notebook the XMG U727. The 17-inch model is equipped with two high-end MXM GPUs as well as a socketed CPU. Nvidia’s brand-new Pascal architecture promises sufficient performance for 4K.

Faster performance, cooler temperatures. If size and weight aren't concerns, then the GT72VR is your best bet with GTX 1060 graphics. Surface temperatures and fan noise are both low for a gaming notebook.

Surprisingly powerful. Not a new architecture and not a new process – but Intel's gently optimized Kaby Lake generation still manages a significant frequency and performance jump. We tested the new Core i7-7500U. Update 09/12/2016: New benchmarks of the Core i5-7200U.

The Mighty Giant. Just this May, we reviewed the Predator 17 G9-792 with GTX 980M GPU. Now Acer has released the nearly identical successor, this time equipped with a GTX 1070 graphics card. The behemoth manages to impress once again with special features like an additional FrostCore cooling fan. Is the Predator "cooler" than its competition?

A "pocket" computer? Acer's Jade Primo is a premium-range smartphone based on Windows 10 Mobile that can also be used as a PC thanks to the Continuum function. That also makes it a direct opponent for Microsoft's top models. The handset's wireless connections are particularly convincing, but it could be a bit more enduring.

Middle of the pack. The 15.6-inch Lenovo all-rounder is priced relatively high for the average features that it offers. The case and screen are both weak points that influence the rating.

One step forward. The GE series was previously limited to the GTX 970M, but the introduction of the GTX 1060 now gives it GTX 980M-level graphics power without necessarily raising costs or temperatures.
