Dell XPS 15 9575 vs. HP Spectre x360 15 2018: Kaby Lake-G Showdown

One Kaby Lake-G Winner. We benchmark and compare the only two laptops in existence currently shipping with Kaby Lake-G processors. We were expecting overall results to be quite similar between them, but they couldn't have been any more different to our genuine surprise.

If this proves to be the RTX 2070 card, then the prices for the new cards are more than justified. (Source: PCMag)

Nvidia's RTX 2080 is only a smidge faster than the GTX 1080 Ti in leaked 3DMark Time Spy benchmark?

It is not clear if these results are provided by an RTX 2080 or 2070 card. Haters would quickly point out that if this is the RTX 2080, the price Nvidia is asking for the card is clearly unjustified. On the other hand, if this card is the RTX 2070, the high prices are justified. If anything, this leak might have stirred the controversies even more.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 teardown reveals low repairability (Source: iFixit)

No surprises here: The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is hard to repair

With a repairability score of 4 out of 10 awarded by iFixit, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is considered to have a nicely laid out modular internal design that only uses standard Philips screws. However, to service any of the internal components the glass rear panel must be un-glued (and reglued at the end), and replacing the display is also very hard to do.

The 41 MP PureView camera on the Nokia Lumia 1020 was pretty revolutionary for its time. (Source: Gadgets360)

PureView is now an HMD Global trademark

HMD Global, the new home for Nokia phones, has licensed the PureView trademark from Microsoft, which earlier had the rights to use it when it acquired the Nokia Devices and Services Division in 2014. A PureView-branded camera signifies imaging excellence. The new ownership of the PureView trademark is now visible on HMD Global's EU IP Office website but it remains to be seen whether future Nokia phones will actually start utilizing it.
