The upcoming OPPO Realme 2 is the successor of the Realme 1, which arrived less than four months ago with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor under the hood and a 6-inch display. The Realme 2 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, a 6.2-inch notched display, and will go on sale next month for less than US$160 (4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage).
OPPO is sometimes extremely quick when it comes to updating an existing device, as shown by the recent unveiling of the Realme 2. The first Realme phablet surfaced back in May, and the new one brings a Qualcomm chipset instead of the MediaTek of its predecessor, a slightly larger notched display, and a few other minor changes.
Powered by the Android 8.1 Oreo-based Color OS 5.1 mobile operating system, the OPPO Realme 2 has just been listed on Flipkart sporting the following highlights: Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 3 GB/4 GB RAM, 32 GB/64 GB internal storage, 13 MP + 2 MP main camera setup, 8 MP selfie shooter with Face Unlock, 6.2-inch with 720 x 1,520 pixels, and a generous 4,230 mAh battery.
The 3 GB/32 GB model has a price tag of around US$128 and the 4 GB/64 GB variant will hit the market for around US$157. However, the first sale will kick off on September 4, at noon. Since the Realme 1 also had a high-end version with 6 GB of memory and 128 GB internal storage, it would not be surprising to see its successor get such a variant at a later time.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
