Oppo has followed in the footsteps of Huawei by partnering with a prestige automobile house to co-brand one of its phones. The new Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition features high-end materials and is the first smartphone to feature ultra-rapid Super VOOC battery charging.

Oppo is taking its new Find X smartphone into the ultra-premium smartphone segment with the new Lamborghini version of its all-new flagship smartphone. In keeping with the Lamborghini tradition of building fast cars, the Oppo Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition is the first smartphone to hit the market with ultra-rapid Super VOOC fast charging technology. It will go from zero battery charge to full capacity in just 35 minutes, or one-third the time it will take the regular Find X to charge.

Additionally, the Find X Lamborghini Edition will also feature custom packaging and a custom carbon fiber design featuring the famous Taurean bull logo on the rear. It is powered by the Snapdragon 845 with 8 GB of RAM and features the same 6.42-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 (2340 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display as the regular Find X. Where it sets itself apart is in the storage stakes, featuring a whopping 512 GB of flash storage (along with its Super VOOC charging capability). The regular Find X only supports VOOC charging.

Unsurprisingly, the price of ownership for the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition is steep. While the standard model already costs an iPhone X-esque US$1150, the special edition variant will run you US$1996.
