Details of the OPPO Find X revealed
Vivo released the Vivo NEX devices earlier in the week, so it’s almost expected that OPPO, a sister company, does something similar. The company’s next device is its flagship Find X, and details of the device have surfaced.
Going by the source, the OPPO Find X will sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ display. The exact resolution is listed as 2340x1080, which usually alludes to the presence of a notch or a similar design feature. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 and will feature 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
On the camera side, it’s said to come with a dual rear camera setup (20 MP, f/2.0 + 16 MP f/2.0), and a single 25 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Those are all pretty impressive camera specifications on paper, and we can only hope they deliver in real-life usage. It’s unknown if the selfie camera will be a mechanical pop-up one like on the NEX, but the device’s resolution indicates a notch—which would rule that out.
The Find X will run on the Android 8.1-based ColorOS 5.1, and will get its juice from a 3730 mAh battery. Leaked images don’t show anything like a traditional fingerprint sensor, so there’s a chance we get an in-display one.
The device will be officially unveiled on June 19, at an event in Paris.
