The Dell XPS 15 9570 was delayed in India due to supply shortages

Indian consumers who were waiting to get the Dell XPS 15 9570 seem to be out of luck this week — at least those who are living in India, of course. Although Frank Azor confirmed last week that the popular XPS 15 9570 was on its way to the Asian country and should go on sale locally on June 19, this performance laptop failed to arrive there in time. Now, he's back on Twitter with an update on this matter. Sadly, we are not talking about good news.

This is what Alienware's co-founder posted yesterday on Twitter: "Still working on it, we want to launch it for you as soon as possible, no reason not to. We are low on inventory right now and trying to get enough supply into the country so we can launch."

The interesting part is that a few hours after Frank's message, Twitter user Abhinav Sah replied saying that the official product page went live for a few hours, but it was taken down after that. It would be great to find out what happened to the orders that were placed while the XPS 15 9570 had an official product page in India. Now, the most recent XPS 15 laptop available on Dell India's website is the 9560 — the same situation as one week ago.
