The Dell XPS 15 9570 was introduced without too many hardware setups to choose from, but the situation is improving. The US market recently received the entry-range Intel Core i5-8300H model, but those interested in grabbing an XPS 15 9570 with the Intel Core i9-8950HK processor inside still have to wait — or fly to Spain for a short laptop shopping visit, of course.
Less than a day ago, the Dell XPS 15 9570 was added to the official Dell Spain website. While the US page only features four models, the Spanish one comes with two additional ones, both sporting an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor. Leaving this high-end chip aside, their highlights include the following: 32 GB DDR4 2,666 MHz memory (2 x 16 GB), 1 TB M.2 PCIe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB GDDR5 memory, as well as a wide range of connectivity options that includes Thunderbolt 3, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 with PowerShare, and more.
The main differences between the EUR€2,699 (~US$3,202) model and the EUR€2,999 (~US$3,558) one can be found in the display and battery departments. The cheaper model has a full HD IPS non-touch display and a 3-cell 56 WHr battery, while the other comes with a 4K IPS touchscreen and a 6-cell 97 WHr power pack.
There is no info on the launch date of the Intel Core i9-8950HK XPS 15 9570 models in the US, but we will let you know as soon as we find out. In the meantime, if you already got one of the existing XPS 15 9570 models, it would be great if you can spare the time to share your thoughts with the rest of us in the comments section below.
