OPPO launched the Realme 2 mid-range smartphone last month and now the company is almost ready to release the Pro version. OPPO CEO Malhav Sheth has already unveiled the Realme 2 PRO two days ago in a Youtube interview, teasing a Snapdragon 660 SoC, and it looks like the device could be packing 8 GB of RAM, as a new OPPO model codenamed RMX1807 with that amount of memory just popped up on Geekbench.
The model spotted in Geekbench managed to score 1452 points in single-core mode and 5511 in multi-core mode, results which are similar to what other devices powered by the Snapdragon 660 scored. Geekbench also informs that this model will come with Android 8.1.
OPPO’s CEO revealed that the back of the Realme 2 Pro model will integrated a dual-cam setup and a circular fingerprint reader, but the diamond-like texture of the case was dropped in order to differentiate the models. Additionally, the display will get a rounded notch. Full specs and pricing should be disclosed on September 27.
