Model: The Huawei MediaPad T5 is an entry-level tablet which offers decent features such as full HD resolution, a fast octa-core processor and a metal back. In addition to that, it is running Android 8.0 Oreo. Huawei has managed to prove that it is indeed possible to create a full-featured decently designed device at a low price again. It is aimed for users who need a tablet for entertainment purpose. The design of the Huawei MediaPad T5 10 is very similar to the one of its predecessors. As with the T3 10, users are getting a metal back. However, there is a plastic bar at the top for the antennas and the frame is made of metal and plastic. Overall build quality is superb. All edges and corners are very well machined and consistent, and the display sits flush and tight inside the case. Huawei is offering this tablet in two colors called black and champagne gold. The right-hand side houses the power button and the volume rocker, both of which wiggle ever so slightly inside their respective cavities. That said both offer firm and well-defined feedback and worked flawlessly and effortlessly. On the left-hand side, users will find the 3.5-mm audio jack, the USB port, and the SIM/microSD tray. As for the display, it comes with a 10.1" display (1920 X 1200 resolution) that delivers excellent detail. The 16:10 aspect ratio makes it perfect for watching movies or TV shows and browsing websites. However, the average brightness delivered by the display panel is around 340 nits. Given the highly reflective topmost glass layer, this could be too little for comfortable outdoor use.
The Huawei MediaPad T5 10 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor, which is developed by Huawei itself. It is an octa-core chip with eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 to 2.36 GHz. Users also can get it with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage or 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB internal storage. With the 32 GB version around 22 GB are free to use by the user out of the box. The rest is taken up by the system. The MediaPad T5 is fairly well suited for gaming. It’s hardware is fast enough to render demanding games smoothly. Games developed for smartphones are hard to use due to the tablet’s large screen, and the touchscreen was somewhat resistant, which meant that gaming for extended periods of time was rather exhausting and strenuous. The gravity sensor was very fast and responsive, and once user got used to the size of the device, neither casual games nor the latest 3D titles caused any issues. Inside the Huawei MediaPad T5 10 sits a battery with a capacity of 5100 mAh. It’s kind of expected at this price point. It should last a whole day during normal use. However, if a user is playing games it’ll drain the battery faster. In standby, it almost does not lose any energy at all. Overall, it is a decent tablet at its price point and it could serve most entertainment needs.

10.10":
This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.

78.28%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
