At DTC 2023, TCL CSOT has unveiled various new display products. One of the headliners was a 65-inch 8K 120Hz printed OLED monitor with an 1800R curve. Also shown at the event were a 27-in 8K display, which supports 3D content with eye-tracking, and a 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel for notebooks.

Gigabyte has presented a new gaming monitor, the Aorus CO49DQ. The model is extra-wide and curved and, thanks to the use of an OLED panel, aims to impress with good color reproduction and an extremely low response time.

The Nitro XV275U is a new high-resolution display from Acer with a particularly high refresh rate. The display thus aims to be particularly suitable for video gaming and also supports the synchronization of image output and image display.

The Samsung Odyssey G9 has received a $500 price cut, making it sit with a discounted price tag of $899.99. Listed at $1,399.99, the 49-inch gaming monitor flaunts a curved screen that matches the curve of the human eye. It also boasts a 125% sRGB color gamut, 240 Hz refresh rate, and multiple gaming-centric features.

AOC has unveiled a new set of AGON gaming monitors. Launching as the AGON AG275QZW and AGON AG275QZE, the pair succeed last year's AG275QZ and AG275QZN but with similar specifications.

The 38WR85QC-W may sit under LG's UltraWide branding. However, the WQHD+ monitor also has enough capabilities to double as a gaming monitor thanks to its fast response times, high refresh rate panel and integration of popular technologies to minimise image tearing.

The ASUS ROG Swift Pro PG248QP is now available in multiple markets following an extended gestation. First unveiled in May 2022, the ROG Swift Pro PG248QP retails for US$899.99 in the US and showcases NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultra Low Motion Blur 2 technology. Surprisingly, the new 540 Hz gaming monitor has officially dropped by 22% in Europe.

The LG 34-inch" 21:9 UltraWide Full HD IPS monitor is expected to arrive in the EU soon after a product listing was spotted on the brand's website in Germany. The display works with AMD FreeSync and has other features, making it suitable for gaming. Plus, the device has a USB-C port supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode.

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 features a 59-inch WQHD QD-OLED panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and 400 nits peak brightness. It comes with Tizen OS pre-installed, allowing one to use it as a standalone device.

Sporting a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a 180 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time, the Alienware AW2724DM is a QHD Display HDR 600-certified gaming monitor with a list price of US$499.99 on Amazon (which is US$100 above its launch price). AOC U27N3RB has officially launched in the Chinese market. With a price tag of CNY1999 (US$282), this 27-inch monitor has a lot to offer. Its main highlights include a 4K IPS panel, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, 100% sRGB and 91% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a multi-functional USB interface.

The Gaming CU34G2XP/BK is AOC's more expensive alternative to the CU34G2XE/BK. Not only does the AOC Gaming CU34G2XP/BK boast 400 nits peak brightness, but it also delivers 1 ms GtG response times, a 1440p resolution, a 180 Hz refresh rate and numerous ports for connecting devices and peripherals.

The Gaming CU34G2XE/BK is one of AOC's latest gaming monitors. Based around a 34-inch VA panel, the AOC Gaming CU34G2XE/BK delivers a 1440p and 144 Hz gaming experience with 1 ms MPRT response times.

It seems that Dell is finally ready to replace the U4021QW, a 40-inch curved monitor that it introduced during CES 2021. Although the new UltraSharp 40 is rumoured to output at 5K like its predecessor, Dell has updated its large professional monitor in various areas.

Windows Report has shared new details about the AW2725DF and AW3225QF, a pair of Alienware gaming monitors that Dell showcased at TwitchCon 2023. While neither is rumoured to arrive until January 2024, Windows Report has obtained official press shots of both ahead of their official introduction.

Acer has launched the Predator XB283K V3, a 28-inch gaming monitor with an Innolux AAS panel. Available already for US$439.99, the Acer Predator XB283K V3 outputs at 4K with a 150 Hz refresh rate and high colour accuracy.

Acer has started selling the Predator XB273U V3, a 27-inch IPS monitor that combines a 1440p resolution with a 180 Hz refresh rate. The Acer Predator XB273U V3 is available for US$249.99 and provides 400 nits peak brightness, among other features.

LG has announced that it will showcase new tech rated to help "Reinvent your Future" at CES 2024. The company will also reinvent itself as more of an AI-focused "Smart Life Solution Company" during the upcoming trade expo in earnest, which will also see it score more CES Innovation Awards than ever before on devices such as its OLED TVs, portable speakers and UltraGear gaming monitors.

Walmart just launched an update to its popular US$15 streaming stick. The new model, which is sold under Walmart's in-house Onn brand, runs on Google TV and can stream up to FHD content. The price remains the same at just under $15.

It appears that AOC is preparing to release the PD49, an ultra-wide gaming monitor created with Porsche Design. Supposedly inspired by the design of a Porsche 911, the AOC Porsche Design PD49 has a 1440p resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate, among other features.

The RedMagic 5088 Partition is the company's first gaming monitor underpinned by 5,088 Mini LED backlight zones. Supposedly, the new monitor can reach up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, which RedMagic has combined with a 160 Hz refresh rate and a 4K native resolution, among other features.

RedMagic has launched the Realm, a 49-inch curved gaming monitor based around a Samsung Display QD-OLED panel. The RedMagic Realm is said to deliver up to 1,000 nits peak brightness with 0.03 ms response times and a 240 Hz refresh rate, among other features.

Hisense has announced a new TV that should be able to impress with an almost absurdly high brightness and numerous dimming zones. In particular, content with a high contrast range should be easy to reproduce.

The 1440p monitor pairs perfectly with the Playstation 5 as it supports both FreeSync and an integrated FPS counter. It features 576 individually-lit LEDs for HDR1000 support and a peak brightness of over two times most typical IPS alternatives.

Philips has presented the Evnia 32M2C5500W, a gaming monitor that combines a high-contrast VA panel with a backlight capable of delivering 500 nits peak brightness. The Philips Evnia 32M2C5500W also outputs at 240 Hz and has various ports, all for €549 in the Eurozone and £429.99 in the UK.

While Black Friday is just around the corner, Amazon has already started slashing some of the top-rated products. Among them, there’s this 33% deal on the LG UltraGear QHD 27GL83A-B. It has dropped the gaming monitor to its all-time low price, from US$ 299.99 to US$199.99.

AOC has confirmed Eurozone and UK pricing for the Gaming Q27G3XMN/BK, a 27-inch gaming monitor with a 1440p VA panel. AOC has also included an overclockable refresh rate and Mini LED local dimming zones that deliver up to 1,000 nits peak brightness.

ViewSonic has brought the LDP216-251 to market, a 216-inch monitor intended to be used in offices. The ViewSonic LDP216-251 delivers 600 nits peak brightness, weighs in at 500 kg and consumes 4,000 W of power.

Thanks to a massive 41% early Black Friday deal, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 G95NA has dropped by US$900 on Amazon. While Samsung released this monitor in 2021, it was ahead of its time with Quantum HDR2000, 1000R curvature, 240Hz refresh rate, and lightning-fast response times.

The 65-inch Sony X90L 4K LED TV has dropped to less than US$1,000 on Amazon. The TV features Full Array Local Dimming, a high contrast ratio, excellent peak brightness, and support for Dolby Atmos/Vision. The TV is also highly rated with an 8.1 rating from RTINGS and a 4.1 star rating on Amazon.

The U27G3XM is a new gaming monitor by AOC with 576 Mini LED backlight zones that deliver up to 1,200 nits peak brightness when viewing HDR content. The AOC U27G3XM also has a 4K native resolution, a 160 Hz refresh rate and 98% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, among other features.

The AOC Q27G10E is a new 27-inch IPS monitor with a 1440p resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate. Equipped with three video outputs, the AOC Q27G10E also has various AOC proprietary gaming features and is relatively colour accurate too.

OLED screen technology is now quite durable. This is shown by an endurance test by Wulff Den, which ran the new Switch from Nintendo in continuous operation with a static image. After the burn-in effects were barely noticeable in the first year, things look a little different two years later.

Philips has released the 49B2U5900CH, an ultra-wide monitor that is equivalent to having a pair of 27-inch and 16:9 monitors sat next to each other. The Philips 49B2U5900CH will be available later this month in multiple markets with a 450 nit, 1440p and 75 Hz panel.

LG has opened pre-orders for the UltraGear 45GR75DC, a 44.5-inch VA panel with a 1440p resolution and a 200 Hz refresh rate. The LG UltraGear 45GR75DC is available for US$899.99 and comes with a four-port USB hub, unlike the cheaper UltraGear 45GR65DC.

The UltraGear 45GR65DC is the cheaper of LG's two new gaming monitors. Built around a 44.5-inch VA panel, the UltraGear 45GR65DC retails for US$799.99 and lacks some of the advanced connectivity of the more expensive UltraGear 45GR75DC.

AOC has released the AGON Gaming U27G3X/BK, a 27-inch IPS monitor with plenty of features aimed at gamers. Not only does the AOC AGON Gaming U27G3X/BK output at 4K and 160 Hz, but it also has low response times, decent colour accuracy and four video inputs.

The AOC AGON Gaming U32G3X/BK is a new mid-sized gaming monitor based around a 4K and 144 Hz panel. AOC has also equipped the monitor with a pair of DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports, among other features.

The 65-inch Hisense 65U8K with a 4K resolution, Mini-LED backlight, a 144 Hz max refresh rate, and 1500 nits of advertised brightness has dropped to an all-time low rate on Amazon. The TV comes highly-rated and features a VA panel with great contrast, black uniformity, and HDR performance alongside solid out-of-the-box calibration and reflection handling. Finally, there is Google Smart TV on board as well as support for Apple Airplay.

Dell has unveiled the U2724D and U2724DE, a pair of UltraSharp monitors that are the first to combine IPS Black technology with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Dell's new UltraSharp monitors have also been certified by TÜV Rheinland as providing exceptional eye comfort.

Although it already got a successor, last year's Samsung Odyssey Ark curved gaming monitor (model S55BG970NN) remains relevant thanks to a generous discount. Thanks to Amazon's 33% generous discount, its price has dropped from US$2,699.99 to US$1,799 and, for now, there are plenty units in stock.

RCA has introduced the Evolution Premium, a new gaming monitor with a high refresh rate and a wide range of functions. Thanks to the narrow display edges, multi-display should also be possible.

Monitor specialist Eizo has presented a new display that has a high resolution and is 3D capable. The model is particularly large and is aimed at special customer groups.

MSI has announced its intentions to release six new QD-OLED gaming monitors. To be available in 27, 32, 34 and 49-inch sizes, the MAG and MPG-branded monitors will debut during CES 2024 with 1440p and 4K resolutions and 240 Hz or 360 Hz refresh rates.

Dell is offering a new, well-equipped monitor that is likely to cut a very fine figure in professional environments. The model is particularly wide and also curved.

Samsung has started selling the second-generation model of its Odyssey Ark gaming monitor. The Odyssey Ark 2023 shares almost all features with its predecessor though, save for three minor changes.

The AG456UCZD is AOC's latest curved gaming monitor. Equipped with a 45.6-inch OLED panel, the AOC AG456UCZD outputs at 1440p with a 21:9 aspect ratio, has a 240 Hz refresh rate and plenty of ports for connecting devices or peripherals.

Onyx has updated the BOOX Mira Pro, a 25.3-inch E-ink desktop monitor. The new Mira Pro should be easier to use than its predecessor thanks to a front-light system, which makes the monitor usable in low-light conditions.

The TV S Pro 85 is Xiaomi's latest Smart TV, and one which it presented alongside the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3 and Xiaomi Watch H1. Spanning 85-inches, the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85 has 1,440 Mini LED zones that deliver up to 2,400 nits peak brightness. The new Smart TV can also run at 240 Hz with its gaming mode enabled or 144 Hz and 4K in other modes.

Lenovo has made the Xiaoxin Pad 2024 official as its latest Android tablet. The slate is touted as a thin and light device with a "high-definition eye-protecting" screen, yet is also touted at the budget end of the market with a starting price of US$150 - or even less during its introductory sales event. It has launched alongside other gadgets such as a "stress-relieving" USB stick as part of the latest Xiaoxin series event in China.
