Huami Amazfit GTS

Huami Amazfit GTS Smartwatch Review: A high-quality copy

Well copied. Smartwatches are becoming more popular, with OEMs now bringing cheaper models to market too. Apple remains a big player in the sector with its Watch, so it should come as no surprise to see other manufacturers basing their attempts on its design. The Huami Amazfit GTS bears an uncanny resemblance to the Apple Watch while costing a lot less. Its price alone should be reason enough to check out what this cheap smartwatch has to offer.

Google's Stadia wireless controller will require physical cable for PCs and mobile devices at launch

At launch, Google's Stadia Controller will not be usable with a PC or compatible mobile device without the use of a USB connection. While the controller will work wirelessly when playing through a Chromecast Ultra, PCs and mobile devices will require a USB HID connection for the Stadia Controller to work properly. This is odd, as the Stadia Controller connects directly to Google's servers over WiFi and sends inputs to the cloud rather than a local device.

It looks like there is not much room to squeeze in the 3750X between the 3700X and the 3800X models, not on the retail market, at least. (Source: AMD)

AMD accidentally leaks the Ryzen 7 3750X CPU

Since the 3700X and 3800X 8-core CPUs are already available, the launch of the 3750X for retail channels might not happen at all. The specs would have to be too similar to the 3800X and a price point between US$330 and US$400 would not really be that justified. AMD may consider launching the 3750X model for OEMs, however.

Google warns that the Pixel 4 can be unlocked with your eyes closed; perhaps even by someone who just looks like you too

The Pixel 4 series only uses face unlock for biometric authentication; it is that secure. Or is it? Well, a video of one device unlocking to closed eyes suggests otherwise, as does the possibility of someone who merely looks "a lot like you" authenticating payments with your face data. Is the face unlock on the Pixel 4 series not so secure after all?
