Fast CPU and good display. With the new ExpertBook PM5 G2, Asus offers a large 16-inch laptop for business customers, featuring a fast AMD processor and a matte WQHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. However, there are unexpected quality issues.

Gorgon Point ZBook. Mobile workstations like the HP ZBook series are typically meant for GPU-intensive applications. Not so much the HP ZBook 8 G2a. This 14-inch workstation with an AMD CPU forgoes a strong graphics chip, instead offering plenty of RAM and a fast processor - a good fit for local AI.

Better than a ThinkPad T14? HP's EliteBook 8 G2a is a 14-inch business laptop with a current AMD processor, excellent input devices and multiple display options. Our review unit with the LowPower display options offers excellent battery life, but quality issues affect the overall impression.

64 GB RAM for a 14-inch subnotebook. The Dell Pro 7 14 continues the Latitude tradition of prioritizing functionality and ease-of-use above controversial features like the zero-lattice keyboard. It's also one of the few laptops to ship with up to the Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 470 CPU.

Red Legion. Lenovo's Legion brand premium to mid-range gaming laptops. The Lenovo Legion 5 15AGP11 is mid-range, making some compromises, but still including high-quality components, like an OLED screen. With the combination of AMD Ryzen CPUs and Nvidia GeForce, this laptop is a strong performer in our review.
