An unannounced GMKtec mini PC has surfaced in a benchmark database with AMD's fastest Ryzen AI Max PRO chip onboard alongside 128GB of RAM.

An unannounced GMKtec EVO-X5 mini PC has appeared in the Geekbench database paired with AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor. The listing confirms the system name as EVO-X5, a model GMKtec has not yet announced.

The Geekbench listing for the GMKtec EVO-X5

The Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 is the fastest SKU in AMD's Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 series, codenamed Gorgon Halo, a refresh of the Strix Halo platform that keeps the same Zen 5 CPU cores and RDNA 3.5 graphics.

The benchmarked EVO-X5 sample appears to carry 128GB of installed memory, with the listing recording a maximum CPU frequency of 5.24 GHz and a Vulkan score of 103,729. Geekbench still tags the processor codename as Strix Halo internally, though AMD officially identifies the PRO 495 as Gorgon Halo.

GMKtec previously confirmed plans to offer the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 in their EVO-X3, including a 192GB RAM configuration later in 2026. The EVO-X5 listing suggests GMKtec is preparing a separate system around the same Gorgon Halo processor. Since this listing comes from an unreleased engineering sample, memory configuration may differ from final retail hardware, and remain officially unconfirmed.
