The FC300-CS is an all-in-one desktop where the display and the computer unit come apart, so either one can be replaced on its own instead of needing to replace the whole machine. That's different from most sealed all-in-ones like Apple's iMac.

All-in-one PCs typically seal the display and the internals into one unit, so once either part becomes outdated, the whole machine usually needs replacing. PCCooler's new FC300-CS works differently. The display and the compute unit can be separated and replaced on their own.

This is different from how most all-in-ones are built. Apple's iMac, for instance, keeps the display and internals sealed together. With the FC300-CS, PCCooler says a new compute module or a new screen could be swapped in later without replacing the entire machine.

Storage comes from one M.2 2280 PCIe/SATA slot plus a 2.5-inch SATA III bay for a second drive.

The compute unit runs an Intel Core Ultra 5 125U, a 2023 Meteor Lake chip that includes a built-in NPU. RAM runs on two DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM slots, so memory can be upgraded rather than being fixed in place. Storage includes one M.2 2280 slot that supports both PCIe and SATA drives, plus a 2.5-inch SATA III bay for a second drive.

The display is a 27-inch QHD IPS panel running at 165Hz with 350 nits of brightness, alongside Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB ports, and RJ45 Ethernet.

The display is a 27-inch QHD IPS panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 350 nits of brightness, higher than the 60Hz refresh rate found on most all-in-one displays. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB ports, RJ45 Ethernet, and audio and video output.

PCCooler hasn't announced pricing or a release date for the US or UK yet. It's also unclear how many display or compute modules PCCooler plans to release over time, which will determine how much the modular design holds up in practice.
