BioStar intros new mini PC with Intel Twin Lake CPU and plenty of connectivity options

BioStar has introduced a new mini PC, dubbed the EdgeComp MT-N150. As the name suggests, the mini PC is powered by a quad-core Intel Twin Lake processor with a decent amount of compute power for non-intensive tasks.
To be more specific, the 4-core, 4-thread Intel N150 processor belongs to the "Twin Lake" family of chips. As can be expected from a 6-watt, quad-core CPU made up entirely of Gracemont efficiency cores, multi-core performance is rather displeasing by modern standards. In synthetic multicore Benchmarks, the CPU can only manage to keep up with a 4-year old AMD Ryzen 3 7320U chip.
The mini PC can be equipped with a single stick of up to 16 GB DDR5-4800 RAM. Storage requirements are handled by M.2 2230, M.2 3042/3052, M.2 2242/2280, and a SATA III slot.

For industrial workflows, however, reliability is a far more crucial aspect. This is exactly where the MT-N150 mini PC is expected to deliver, courtesy of BioStar's expertise and experience in this arena. The mini PC features a host of connectivity options, which have been detailed below:
- Dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, dual USB 2.0 Type-A
- USB-C with DisplayPort Alt mode, 100-watt PD
- Dual 1G Ethernet
- Dual HDMI
- Single audio out, audio in
Wireless requirements can be taken care of with an add-on Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module. Options for 4G cellular connectivity are also on the table. The EdgeComp MT-N150 mini PC measures 19.6 x 19.3 x 4.5 cm (7.72 x 7.6 x 1.77 inches) and has a volume of around 1.7 L.
