Massive Lego leak reveals 8 upcoming Super Mario minifigure sets from $9.99
The first minifigure-scale Lego Super Mario wave appears to have leaked almost in full. Reputable leak account @unibricks has posted a list of eight sets reportedly arriving in January 2027. The list is complete with product names and US pricing, spanning from $9.99 to $99.99. Every set in there is claimed to include minifigures.
The leak is even more believable than usual, because six of the eight numbers line up with a separate leak published by Brick Fanatics on 3 August (sourced to a Reddit poster citing buggyleaks). That earlier report listed 72054, 72055, 72056, 72057, 72060 and 72061 as January 2027 releases, along with their piece counts attached. The new list not only adds 72052 and 72058 to the group, but also supplies names for all of them.
However, Brick Fanatics also listed 72059 as a 755-piece 18+ build slated for March 2027; however, it doesn't appear in the new list at all.
The 850-piece 72060 Fire Mario & Bowser's Castle works out at 11.8 cents per piece, while the 104-piece 72056 Mario Kart - Luigi & Bowser Jr's Karts lands at 28.8 cents. Across the six sets that appear in both leaks, 1,622 pieces cost $234.94, or 14.5 cents per piece. That is above Lego's usual ballpark. Also, it's a valid explanation for all the enthusiasm in the comments, which is really a reaction to the low entry price. Here's the complete list:

Peach is named nowhere. The current interactive range (built around electronic figures) is due to retire by the end of 2026. This would make this a reboot, and not an expansion. Lego has confirmed nothing at the time of writing this.
