Elegoo launches H1 HT filament dryer with up to 85C max drying temp

Elegoo has been slowly but surely catching up with the competition with budget options for 3D printing enthusiasts. It introduced the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo in January this year as the cheapest enclosed CoreXY printer with multicolor printing. There was no enclosure for the filaments, however, but now Elegoo is launching a standalone single filament dryer to partially address that issue.
Elegoo H1 HT Filament Dryer features
The H1 HT is a single filament drying solution like some other third-party options already available on the market. It comes with a 3.5-inch full-color touchscreen and 11 preset filament modes. You can also use a custom preset for other filaments. The H1 HT can dry at up to 85 degrees C (higher than Bambu Lab’s AMS 2.0), monitors humidity levels, and has a feed port at the back. Elegoo includes a long and short PTFE tube, with the long one directly feeding into the Canvas system. There is an additional hole for TPU as well.
For the Centauri or Centauri Carbon 1/2 without the Canvas system, one H1 HT dryer would be fine, but for setups with the Canvas system, one might not be enough. If you want to dry four filaments at the same time, you’ll need four of these, and all of them will need to be powered individually. It is unclear if Elegoo has plans for a larger Bambu Lab AMS-style enclosure that holds four filaments and dries them as well. Creality also has a four-spool drying solution called the SpacePi X4. That said, the Elegoo H1 HT can be used with any 3D printer and filament brand.
Elegoo H1 HT Filament Dryer price and availability
The H1 HT is priced at $70 and is available via the official Elegoo store. At the time of publishing, it is not available anywhere else.
