MSI releases affordable mini PC with Intel Raptor Lake and up to 64GB RAM support, starting at $329.99

Nearly a year after it was unveiled, MSI is finally bringing the Cubi 5 1M mini PC to the US. The 0.83-liter desktop is now available to preorder on Amazon in barebones and fully configured variants. Powered by Intel's Raptor Lake-U Refresh processors, the tiny PC won't break any benchmark records, but it should have no trouble handling everyday office work and multimedia tasks.

At the entry level, MSI offers a barebones Core 3-100U variant for $329.99. Buyers looking for a little more horsepower can step up to the Core 5-120U model for $399.99 or the Core 7-150U variant for $529.99. MSI also offers a fully configured Core 7-150U model equipped with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD, though this pushes the price to $1,209.99. That said, all variants begin shipping on August 1, 2026.

To recap, the Cubi 5 1M packs everything into a compact 0.83-liter chassis measuring 124 x 124 x 53.7 mm (4.88 x 4.88 x 2.11 inches). MSI mentions support for DDR5 RAM, although the configurations listed on Amazon support up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 memory (curr: $144.99 for 2x8GB on Amazon) across two DIMM slots. Storage options are equally modest, with one PCIe Gen4 M.2 slot and a SATA connector available.

For connectivity, the mini PC supports Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5GbE networking and can drive up to three displays simultaneously. On top of that, the Cubi 5 1M comes with the following ports:

• Four USB Type-A ports (10 Gbps)
• One Thunderbolt 4 port
• One HDMI 2.1 port
• One DisplayPort 1.4 output
• Dual Ethernet ports (2.5 GbE and 1 GbE)
• A 3.5 mm audio jack

MSI ships the Cubi 5 1M with a three-year warranty, an external power switch, and a 65W AC adapter. Buyers can also mount the mini PC behind a monitor using a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount.
