MSI and TCL CSOT unveil world's first 27-inch 4K 120Hz IJP OLED monitor

MSI and TCL CSOT have jointly unveiled the Pro Max OLED 271UPJW12 at ChinaJoy 2026, calling it the world's first 27-inch 4K 120Hz professional monitor built on Inkjet-printed (IJP) OLED technology. The launch also marks TCL CSOT's entry into the mid-size IJP desktop monitor segment for consumer applications.

The panel uses a vertical RGB stripe pixel arrangement; MSI says this eliminates color fringing around text and image edges, delivering sharper text clarity. Color performance is rated at 99 percent DCI-P3 coverage with Delta E of 2 or lower, alongside VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. Peak HDR brightness reaches 1,000 nits, and the panel's pixel density comes in at 164ppi, aimed at both color-critical creative work and general entertainment use.

The monitor introduces MSI's OLED Auto Care system, a background maintenance feature the company describes as the first uninterrupted OLED protection built into a monitor. It relies on real-time Data Counting Compensation to manage panel wear, avoiding the forced pop-up interruptions common to older OLED burn-in protection routines.

For multi-device setups, the monitor includes a built-in KVM switch, support for picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes, and a USB-C port with 15W Power Delivery. Its stand supports height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment. The panel has earned Eyesafe 3.0 certification, limiting harmful blue light emissions to 20 percent or below, and meets the Circadian Protection Factor standard aimed at reducing the impact of nighttime screen use on sleep. At the system level, the monitor carries TUV-certified low blue light and flicker-free certification.

An upgraded anti-glare coating raises surface hardness from 2H to 3H, which MSI says improves scratch resistance by up to 2.5 times while cutting down on glare and reflections. The monitor supports both SDR and HDR modes across a range of customizable display settings.
