Lenovo launches new 15-inch gaming laptop globally with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB and 165 Hz OLED display

A few months have passed since Lenovo released the Legion 5 15IAX11 globally. Replacing the older Legion 5 15IRX10 (curr. $1,730 on Amazon), the 15.3-inch gaming laptop pairs new Arrow Lake HX processors with up to Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070 12GB laptop GPU.
Now, the AMD-based Legion 5 15AGP11 has joined the party with a graphics refresh of its own. For context, the Legion 5 15AGP11 debuted in January during CES 2026 with AMD Gorgon Point processors like the Ryzen AI 9 465. Released shortly afterwards, the Legion 5 15AGP11 offers better CPU performance than the AMD Hawk Point-based Legion 5 15AHP11, which is available exclusively with the Ryzen 7 250.

By contrast, both laptops were available with up to GeForce RTX 5070 8GB laptop GPUs. However, Lenovo's new refresh adds the GeForce RTX 5070 12GB for the Legion 5 15AGP11, with its 8 GB sibling now showing for the Legion 5 15AHP11. The Legion 5 15AGP11 retains an 80 Wh battery and a 165 Hz OLED display too, as well as dual M.2 2280 and DDR5 SODIMM slots within a 1.87 kg housing.
Lenovo's PSREF website indicates that the Legion 5 15AGP11 will be available globally with the GeForce RTX 5070 12GB laptop GPU. While pricing and availability remain unknown for now, the GPU will be configurable with AMD's Ryzen AI 7 450 or Ryzen AI 9 465 processors. Please see the company's website for more details.
