Lenovo has quietly started selling a new 14-inch laptop internationally. Available in Europe and in Asia, the ThinkBook 14x combines Intel Lunar Lake processors with a 120 Hz VRR OLED display and dual M.2 SSD slots in a package weighing less than 1 kg.

Lenovo has finally released the ThinkBook 14x, having initially introduced the laptop earlier this year as the ThinkBook X AI 2026 in China. To recap, the ThinkBook 14x appeared on Lenovo's PSREF website over a month ago. Additionally, some retailers listed the laptop for sale ahead of schedule.

Now, Lenovo has started its new 14-inch ThinkBook across Europe and Asia. Specifically, the ThinkBook 14x is available to purchase in Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In short, the ThinkBook 14x is a lightweight alternative to the ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 that we reviewed earlier this month (curr. $1,579 on Amazon). While the latter weighs around 1.4 kg, the former tips the scales at just 990 g when configured with its 54.7 Wh battery.

However, Lenovo equips the ThinkBook 14x with Intel's older Lunar Lake platform, rather than the newer Panther Lake platform. Still, the Core Ultra 7 256V and Core Ultra 7 266V offer impressive graphics performance thanks to their Arc 140V iGPU. Lenovo also sells the ThinkBook 14x with the Core Ultra 5 226V, which drops a way behind its Lunar Lake peers in terms of CPU and GPU performance.

At the time of writing, Lenovo offers the ThinkBook 14x with just 16 GB of RAM. The company's PSREF website indicates that the laptop will eventually come in several 32 GB RAM SKUs, though. Setting that aside, the ThinkBook 14x can also be configured with 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of M.2 2242 storage. A spare M.2 2280 slot allows storage to be expanded further. Moreover, Lenovo lists three 120 Hz display options, the highlight of which being a 1800p OLED panel with a variable refresh rate and 500 nits SDR peak brightness, which rises to 1,100 nits in HDR mode.

Pricing starts at €919 in the Eurozone with a Core Ultra 5 226V, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB of storage, a 65 Wh battery and a 120 Hz IPS display that offers 400 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the ThinkBook 14x retails for AUD 2,003, HKD 10,721, MYR 5,762 and SGD 2,402 (~$1,857) in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, respectively. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
