Lenovo releases new 14-inch ThinkPad globally with 64 GB RAM and Intel Panther Lake processors
Lenovo has now released its latest 2-in-1 ThinkPad globally. For context, the company launched the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 in March. However, it waited over two months before it started selling the laptop in any capacity as a replacement for the Gen 1 model we reviewed in 2025 (curr. $1,299 on Amazon).
Now, it has expanded availability to East Asia, North America and Southeast Asia. For the most part, Lenovo sells the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 with Intel's Core Ultra 5 335 vPro, Core Ultra 7 355, Core Ultra 7 365 vPro, Core Ultra 7 356H and Core Ultra 7 366H processors. For some reason, only the Core Ultra 5 325, Core Ultra 7 355 and Core Ultra 7 365 vPro have reached North America, though.
As a result, the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 can only be configured with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM in Canada and the US. By contrast, East Asia and Southeast Asis have received 64 GB RAM SKUs tied to higher-end processors. Setting that aside, the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 can also be configured with up to 1 TB of M.2 2280 storage and a series of 1200p displays. While all are also 60 Hz panels, some peak at 500 nits in SDR mode with 100% sRGB colour space coverage.
Moreover, Lenovo includes a 58 Wh battery, a Garaged Pen, optional cellular modems and a Smart Card Reader. For reference, Lenovo has wrapped all this hardware inside a 313 x 224 x 12.06~17.84 mm housing that weighs 1.35 kg. Pricing starts at $1,689 and CAD 2,438 in the US and Canada, respectively. Meanwhile, the new 2-in-1 costs HKD 14,045 in Hong Kong, MYR 7,329 in Malaysia and SGD 2,676 in Singapore. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
