Ninkear launches affordable Microsoft Surface rival with 13-inch touchscreen

Ninkear has silently launched a new affordable Microsoft Surface competitor, the S13 Neo. It's essentially a modified version of the non-Neo Windows tablet that we previously reviewed.
The first notable change is in terms of the processor. While the non-Neo convertible features the Intel Core Ultra 5 115U, the new S13 Neo has the N150, a slower CPU that also comes with a less capable iGPU. However, it's still powerful enough for everyday tasks and entertainment.
This quad-core Twin Lake processor is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD. There's an active cooling fan inside, which is said to keep the heat low without getting too loud.
On the front, the Ninkear S13 Neo features a 13-inch display with a resolution of 3000x2000 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a brightness rating of 350 nits. The company notes that this touchscreen has 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, making the Windows tablet a good pick for creative works.
A 46.2Wh battery powers the internals of the tablet, and Ninkear promises up to 8 hours of runtime after a full charging session. As for the port configuration, the S13 Neo has the following:
- 2x USB 3.0 Type-A
- 2x USB Type-C
- 1x 3.5mm audio
Other highlights include support for a magnetic keyboard, an all-metal design with a weight of 878 grams (1.93lb), and an FHD front camera. The Windows tablet is currently available on AliExpress with a price tag of $576.38 and on the official store for €519.99.
