HMD introduces new phone with 3.5mm headphone jack for ~$68

HMD has introduced a new entry-level smartphone called the HMD Arc 2. The phone appears to be a minor refresh of the original HMD Arc, which was launched in December 2024.
The HMD Arc 2 features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The HMD Arc 2 is powered by the Unisoc T603 chipset, which is also found in the Xiaomi Redmi A3x.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged via a USB-C port at 10W. On the software front, the phone runs Android 14 Go Edition. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports memory expansion via a microSD card slot.
The HMD Arc 2 comes in Dark Blue and Golden Beige color options. The phone will go on sale in Thailand on July 20, 2026. The base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at THB 2,290 (~$68). Meanwhile, the variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at THB 2,990 (~$89).
Currently, there is no word on availability in other regions. Separately, a leak has revealed new information about the successor to the HMD Skyline (curr. $399 on Amazon).
