Motorola officially teases new phone with "magnetic power"

The Motorola Edge 70 Max has been teased via a Flipkart microsite, revealing some of its highlights. For context, the Edge 70 series includes several smartphones: the standard Edge 70, Edge 70 Fusion, Edge 70 Pro, and Edge 70 Pro Plus.
The teaser image of the Edge 70 Max shows a square rear camera housing, matching the leaked renders. Additionally, the new Motorola phone is claimed to offer "46% improved NPU performance."
Notably, the official teaser touts "max magnetic power" and shows the phone alongside what appears to be a magnetic wireless charger. Previously, the Motorola Edge 70 Max received WPC certification, confirming support for Qi 2.2.1. This would put the Edge 70 Max in a small group of Android smartphones with built-in magnets, such as the HMD Skyline (curr. $399.99 on Amazon) and the Google Pixel 10 series.
Other official details about the Motorola Edge 70 Max remain scarce. However, leaks suggest the phone may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and a 50MP Sony sensor. It is unclear if the Edge 70 Max will be released in other regions. In separate news, Motorola has revealed full specifications of an upcoming budget smartphone with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
