Vivo X300E: key specs of new Vivo smartphone reveal Zeiss cameras, 7,000mAh battery, and more

Vivo's X300 series already has five models, but it appears it isn't done yet. Alongside the already announced Vivo X300, Vivo X300 Ultra, Vivo X300 Pro, Vivo X300 FE, and Vivo X300s, specs of a new model that will launch as the Vivo X300E have surfaced.

Based on the available information, the Vivo X300E shares some of its specs with the X300 FE, but packs a larger display and a bigger battery capacity. Posted on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X300E will have a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Like the X300 FE, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and will be available with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

For its cameras, the Vivo X300E is reported to have a 50MP sensor as its primary rear camera and it is paired with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera and another 50MP sensor with a periscope lens. It also has a 50MP camera on the front. Like Vivo's flagship series, this will also have Zeiss imaging technology.

The Vivo X300E will have a 7,015mAh rated battery capacity with support for 90W fast wired charging. There's no mention of wireless charging, but it is likely to have support for it since this feature is available on the other models in the X300 series. The source also mentions the phone has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, and a squircle camera island. It will weigh 203 grams and have a thickness of 7.99mm.

It is worth mentioning that this device is the same one that was previously reported to launch as the Vivo X500E. However, since its name wasn't known then, it was believed to be among the X500 series which is expected to launch this year.  

There's no info yet on when the Vivo X300E will be released, but it will most likely make its debut in China before an international release, if at all. It should also cost less than the Vivo X300 (curr. available on Amazon.de for €859).
