Xiaomi 18 Pro Max: Next-gen flagship leaks with dual 200MP cameras and large battery

The flagship Xiaomi 18 series is expected to debut in Q4 2026. Similar to the Xiaomi 17 series, the lineup is expected to initially include three models: the standard Xiaomi 18, Xiaomi 18 Pro, and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. A new leak from a reputable tipster has now shed light on key specifications of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
Tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be powered by a chipset based on a 2nm process node, likely from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series.
For context, the next-generation Snapdragon flagship series is expected to include two chipset variants. The standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is expected to use LPDDR5X memory and an Adreno 845 GPU. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is said to use LPDDR6 memory and an Adreno 850 GPU.
The phone is tipped to feature a 200MP main camera with LOFIC technology and a 200MP telephoto sensor. According to a previous leak, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max may use a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
The phone is expected to pack a battery larger than 8,000mAh with 100W wired fast charging support (25K Ugreen powerbank curr. $59.98 on Amazon). Moreover, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is said to feature upgraded dual speakers and a large haptic motor. In other news, Xiaomi has ended software support for several smartphones.
