Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max leaks with fresh design, 10,100 mAh and 200 MP

Rumors already suggested last week that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 series would be officially unveiled in July, featuring some major upgrades. Now, GizChina Greece has published two images purportedly showing the completely new design of these mid-range smartphones.
While the Redmi Note 15 ($250 on Amazon) still features a display rounded on the left and right sides and a heavily rounded, square camera module, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max apparently has a more modern design with a small, rectangular camera module and a flat display. The visible antenna bands suggest that at least the top-of-the-line model is equipped with a metal frame. The design stands out from the competition primarily due to the eye-catching color scheme of the back panel.
While Xiaomi appears to be skipping the Redmi Note 16 series, the Redmi Note 17 series is rumored to feature a number of significant upgrades. The Redmi Note 17 is said to combine a 6.83-inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a massive 9,000 mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is said to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and 100-watt fast charging. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is expected to offer three major advantages over the Redmi Note 17 Pro – a 200-megapixel main camera, a larger 10,100 mAh battery, and a faster MediaTek Dimensity 7500 ARM processor. Compared to the Redmi Note 15 series, the new models primarily feature newer processors and larger batteries.
