Leak reveals alleged key details of the Redmi Turbo 6 Max

In late January, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, continuing the Turbo series that first launched in 2024. Now, alleged specs believed to be that of its successor have surfaced on the web.

The source of the info is Digital Chat Station, and while the Weibo post doesn't explicitly mention the name of the device, there are speculations they are of the Redmi Turbo 6 Max. Nevertheless, the reliable leaker says the upcoming phone will have a 7-inch flat display with a 2K resolution.

For comparison, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max has a 6.83-inch display, which is quite big. However, a smartphone with a 7-inch display, while uncommon, isn't unheard of. Last November, Huawei released the Mate 70 Air which has a 7-inch display. It has also been reported that Honor is developing a 7-inch smartphone. So the Redmi Turbo 6 Max won't be without rivals.

The leaked specs also mention a Dimensity 9000 series processor which falls under MediaTek's Dimensity flagship family. The Redmi Turbo 5 Max has a Dimensity 9500s processor, which means the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will either be powered by the more powerful Dimensity 9500 or a yet to be released processor.

The rest of the specs weren't revealed, but an important detail mentioned by the leaker is the expected release date, which is said to be in January 2027. That is still far ahead, and we can't rule out the chance that some of these details would not have changed before then.
