Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 performance details leaked before launch

A new Xiaomi smartphone has surfaced on Geekbench. The device carries the model number "2607DRA18C", which is expected to correspond to the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 17. For context, the new Redmi Note 17 series has been confirmed to launch in July 2026 in China.
The Geekbench listing indicates the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset with 12GB of RAM. The listing also suggests the phone runs Android 16.
The device scored 1,027 points in single-core and 3,002 in multi-core CPU tests. For comparison, the Redmi Note 15 5G used the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, a chipset that delivers broadly similar Geekbench performance to the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 in our testing.
However, the Redmi Note 17 may bring upgrades in other areas. Leaks suggest that the upcoming phone could feature a 6.83-inch display with a "1.5K" resolution. Moreover, the device is said to support 67W fast charging.
For comparison, the Redmi Note 15 5G (curr. $249.50 on Amazon) has a slightly smaller 6.77-inch display and supports 45W fast charging. Apart from the standard Redmi Note 17, the series is also expected to include the Redmi Note 17 Pro and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.
