Redmi Note 17 lineup detailed: Big battery galore in the mid-range
A report last week revealed key details of Xiaomi's upcoming mid-range phone, the Redmi Note 17. The vanilla Note 17 will be accompanied by other devices as well, with a new leak now providing some information on what to expect from the lineup.
As shared by Chinese leaker Experience More, the Redmi Note 17 will be joined by the Redmi Note 17 Pro and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, continuing Xiaomi's new trend of releasing "Pro Max" models as inspired by Apple. The Redmi Note 17 Pro will apparently be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and will feature a 50 MP main camera, stereo speakers, and IP68/IP69K certification like its predecessor. The headline feature, however, will be its battery, as a massive 9,000 mAh unit has been tipped.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max looks set to be the most premium model in the lineup. While it'll likely sport the same display as its siblings, it gets significant upgrades in other departments. It's tipped to feature a 200 MP main camera, for one, and a colossal 10,100 mAh battery. It'll also be the most powerful of the lot, with a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 mooted.
