Nubia launches 5.99mm-thin phone with bright AMOLED display and 108MP camera

ZTE (Nubia's parent company) released the Nubia Air in late 2025 as an affordable phone that rivals the iPhone 17 Air and Galaxy S25 Edge with its slim design. The company recently showcased the Pro version of the phone, but at the unveiling, there was no word on when it would be available to purchase.
Now, the Nubia Air Pro has been listed on Amazon Germany, with the current starting price being €432.89, about $494. It's the 8/512GB configuration of the smartphone, but a 256GB config is also expected to be available, possibly at a more affordable price range.
Another thing that's worth noting is that the company seems to be limiting the availability of the phone at launch, as the Air Pro doesn't seem to be listed on other regions, including Nubia's own international store. However, the non-Pro version of the smartphone did see a relatively wide global release.
As for the phone itself, the Nubia Air Pro has a 5.99mm thin metal mid-frame, and as the company claims, it weighs only 172 grams. To compare, the iPhone Air measures 5.6mm at its thinnest point and weighs 165 grams.
On the front, there's a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness rating of 4,500 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, and 95.4% screen-to-body ratio. The back has a dual-camera setup with an 108MP primary camera that's shown to capture photos with great detail.
The phone is powered by the Dimensity 7100, an octa-core mid-range SoC from MediaTek, and it's paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. There's a 5,000mAh battery inside, and it has support for 45W fast charging. Check out our previous coverage to learn more about the Nubia Air Pro.
