Casio's Edifice EFK-200 automatic watches finally arrive in the US, including forged carbon-fiber dial

After nearly two months of availability in China, Casio has finally brought the Edifice EFK-200 Automatic series to the US market. All five variants now listed on the American store. The lineup is priced from $330 and tops out at $500 for the Toyota Racing collaboration model, which should attract the most attention as well.
The five models cover a pretty solid range of styles on their own. The EFK200CD-1A gets a carbon-textured black dial with a stainless steel bracelet at $330, while the EFK200D-2A and EFK200D-4A come with blue and red gradient dials respectively, both also on stainless steel bracelets at the same price. The EFK200DG-5A is the flashiest one of the bunch — $410 with a full gold-tone case, bracelet, and a dark sunburst dial. At the top of the range, you get the EFK200XPB-1A at $500. This is a Toyota Racing collaboration piece, fitted with a forged carbon fiber dial and casing with rose gold accents and a black rubber strap.
All five are powered by the same mechanical movement: Miyota 8215, also known as Casio Module 5766, with a 42-hour power reserve across 21 jewels and an accuracy rating of -20 to +40 seconds per day. The case's dimensions are 43.6 x 38 x 11.9 mm, sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a transparent mineral crystal caseback lets you view the movement on all variants.
The EFK-200 is only the second generation of mechanical Edifice watches Casio has produced, following the EFK-100 series. The US pricing, as expected, comes with a chunky premium over the Chinese launch prices of ¥2,490 to ¥3,990. All five models are available to buy directly through Casio's US website now.
