Casio's new Edifice EFK-200 mechanical lineup goes on sale, including carbon-fiber model

Casio has quietly made the EFK-200 Edifice Automatic series available for purchase in China, shortly after they were officially announced. The news comes via @geesgshock, confirming that the lineup has moved past the announcement stage and into retail. However, Casio's China website hasn't reflected the update as of writing.
The five models include a healthy range of styles and price points on the Chinese market. The EFK-200D-1A and EFK-200D-2A are both priced at 2,490 CNY (~$367), as is the EFK-200D-4A. The gold-toned EFK-200DG-5A steps up to 3,390 CNY (~$500), while the flagship Toyota Racing collaboration model, the EFK-200XPB-1A, commands the highest ask at ¥3,990 ($589).
All five share the same mechanical base. The watches are powered by the Miyota 8215 movement — also referred to as Casio Module 5766 — delivering a 42-hour power reserve across 21 jewels, with an accuracy rating of -20 to +40 seconds per day. The case measures 43.6 x 38 x 11.9 mm, and each model features sapphire crystal up front with a transparent mineral crystal caseback for movement viewing.
Design-wise, the lineup's standard variants arrive in black, blue, red, and gold dial finishes with gradient texturing, all on stainless steel bracelets. The EFK-200XPB-1A, born out of the Casio-Toyota Racing partnership announced in January 2026, takes a different direction entirely — forged carbon fiber dial and casing, rose gold baton indexes, and a rubber strap that brings its weight down by a lot compared to the bracelet models.
Casio's first mechanical Edifice launched in 2024 and was an instant hit, and the EFK-200 will probably look to build on that momentum. Global pricing and availability have still not been confirmed.
