Casio's new ana-digi vintage watch goes on sale in the US, featuring a silver-tone bracelet

Casio has added a new variant to its long-running AQ230 lineup. The AQ230A-7DMQY went on sale in June 2026 on the US Casio website, priced at $59.95.

The AQ230 line has been around since 1995, itself a follow-up to the Casio Janus AQ-200 from 1982. The series uses a two-hand analog display with a digital LCD. The design keeps the analog hands clear of the digital readout for unobstructed legibility. The AQ230A-7DMQY, as expected, follows the same formula, with a white dial on a silver-tone stainless steel bracelet — one of many colorways currently listed in the US.

Specs are in line with the rest of the AQ230 family. The case measures 38.8 × 29.8 × 8.1 mm and weighs 47 g, with a resin case body under a chrome-plated bezel and a resin glass crystal. The stainless steel bracelet fits wrists between 140 and 205 mm with an adjustable clasp. Battery life is rated at approximately three years on a SR920W cell.

Feature-wise, the watch covers the basics well. It offers dual time, a 1/100-second stopwatch with elapsed time measurement, daily alarm, hourly time signal, and an auto-calendar. The display handles both 12 and 24-hour formats, with the analog side showing hours and minutes while the digital readout adds seconds, pm indicator, month, date, and day. Water resistance is listed simply as water resistant on the official website.
