New affordable Casio dress watch with a radiant green sunburst dial and fluted bezel launches in the US

After dropping three affordable MTP series retro watches with a Rolex-style day display in the US earlier this month, Casio has announced another elegant dress watch with the release of the MTP-1302PGC-3AV. Casio has been selling this model in Europe, the UK, and India for over a year now, but is only now deciding to bring it to the US market.

US buyers can pick up the Casio MTP-1302PGC-3AV directly from the Casio US store. It’s priced at $120 and is part of the Casio Timeless Collection. It's another Casio that punches well above its price tag in the looks department. The watch features a beautiful radiant green sunburst dial that shifts its hue based on the light angle, giving it a much more premium look than what the price tag suggests.

The dial is encased in a gold ion-plated case and is paired with a stainless steel bracelet. And top off that classic luxury vibe, Casio added a sophisticated coin-edge fluted bezel.

There's a date window tucked neatly into the 3 o'clock position, while luminous coating on the hands makes the watch easier to read after dark. The watch is powered by Casio’s dependable 2784 quartz movement, offering standard three-hand timekeeping and accuracy rated at ±20 seconds per month.

The stainless steel case measures 44.2 × 38.5 × 9.4 mm, and is paired with a matching gold ion-plated bracelet that fastens with a triple-fold clasp. Mineral glass protects the dial, and the bracelet fits wrists measuring between 150 mm and 205 mm. The watch also boasts a solid 50-meter water resistance. 

Powering all this up is an SR626SW battery, which should keep the watch ticking for about three years before needing a replacement.
