Casio launches three new G-Shock watches in the US with Bluetooth and Tough Solar

Following the UK launch, Casio has officially unveiled the G-Shock Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 series watches in the US. The lineup consists of a total of three models, including the G-Shock GWR-B3000-1A, the GWR-B3000-2A, and the GWR-B3000-8A. All three models are listed on the Casio US website for $880, $990, and $1,100, respectively. However, there’s no information available about the availability of these watches at the time of writing. Interested buyers can use the "Notify Me” button on Casio’s website to receive availability notifications, though. 

These pilot watches measure 14.1 mm (0.56 inches) in thickness and weigh around 102 grams (0.22 lbs). Appearance-wise, all three models are different. The G-Shock GWR-B3000-1A has a black dial complemented by a silver-finished metal bezel, while the GWR-B3000-2A comes with a blue dial, and the GWR-B3000-8A has a matching dial, strap, and bezel. 

Despite different appearances, all three watches come with carbon fiber-reinforced resin and stainless steel casings. Plus, the GWR-B3000 series features three analog hands, a date window, and three subdials positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. What’s interesting is that these analog watches offer all the features of the digital watches, namely dual time, world time across 300 cities, a 1-second stopwatch, an hourly time signal, a phone finder, and Bluetooth connectivity with Casio app integration. 

The digital-analog watch ships with a flight log feature that allows users to record data like transit points, home destinations, points of departure, and so on. Plus, these Triple G Resist models are shock, vibration, and centrifugal force resistant. Other features of these radio-controlled (Multiband 6) include Casio’s Tough Solar charging, an LED light, a full auto calendar (up to 2099), and 200 m (20 bar) water resistance.
