Casio's retro-inspired MTP-B146 collection has finally arrived in the US, led by three affordable models with vintage-inspired styling.
Casio has finally brought its retro-inspired MTP-B146 collection to the US more than a year after its international debut. The stainless steel trio stands out with vintage 1980s styling, a unique day display at 12 o'clock, and prices starting at just $110.

More than a year after their international debut, Casio’s new MTP retro collection has finally launched in the US. We first caught wind of a US release back in April, when the company added five MTP-B146 watches to the Casio Lab Showcase and invited users to vote on their favorite model. The results are now in, and three of the most popular variants from the survey have officially arrived in the States.

The trio consists of the Casio MTP-B146D-1AV featuring a silver case and black dial; the MTP-B146D-2AV with a silver case and light blue dial, and the MTP-B146G-3AV with a gold case and emerald green dial.

The main attraction here is the retro, round-face design and a color-scheme that Casio says "immerses you in the atmosphere of the 1980s". And let's not forget that eye-catching day display at the 12 o’clock position. That distinctive day window is what sets the MTP-B146 series apart from the existing MTP-B145 models (Casio MTP-B145D-3AV curr. $74.95 on Amazon).

All three are equipped with a stainless steel case and a 3-fold clasp. The MTP-B146G is the more premium in the group, as it has a gold ion-plated case and band. But otherwise, they all offer the same specs, including a date window at 3 o’clock, 50 meters of water resistance, and a 1.55V SR920SW button cell battery that lasts up to 3 years.

The new Casio MTP-B146 collection is now up for grabs from the Casio US store. The black and light blue dial variants are priced at $110, while the MTP-B146G-3AV (gold case, green dial) commands a slight premium at $130.
