Casio's latest G-Shock channels the Space Age with retro-futuristic styling
Following last year's GM-5600 collaboration, Casio and C2H4 are back with another retro-futuristic G-Shock. This time, the GA-2100 gets the Space Age treatment, complete with a custom collectible packaging inspired by vintage industrial design.

After the solid success of the G-Shock x Pokémon, Casio is back with another cool limited-edition watch. The company’s latest collaboration with C2H4 has produced a retro-futuristic analog-digital timpiece inspired by the Space Age aesthetic. This is the second collaboration between the Japanese watchmaker and the Los Angeles-based streetwear label by Yixi Chen, following the well-received GM-5600 “The Space Age” edition that arrived in 2025.

Built upon G-Shock’s iconic GA-2100 silhouette, the new G-Shock GA-2100C2H426-8A draws heavily from 1960s technological optimism, with a retro-futurist design philosophy summed up by its tagline: "The future of design lies in the past".

A translucent resin bezel and strap reinforce the watch’s futuristic vibe, while the dial boasts brushed silver metallic plating enhanced by vapor deposition, giving the hands and hour markers a refined metallic appearance. The case back is engraved with the Theme Building at the Los Angeles International Airport, one of the best architectural examples of the Space Age design style.

Collectors will appreciate the exclusive custom packaging, which continues the design language of the first collaboration. The watch comes sealed in a metallic silver and blue case resembling a futuristic time capsule that splits in half to reveal the timepiece within.

None of the standard G-Shock ruggedness is lost. The watch retains GA-2100's signature shock resistance structure and 200-meter water resistance. We can also expect the full suite of standard GA-2100 utility packed into its analog-digital display, including world time across 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, five daily alarms, and a full auto-calendar that tracks the date accurately through the year 2099. The watch also comes equipped with a double LED Super Illuminator.

Pricing & Availability

The G-Shock GA-2100 x C2H4 is set to launch in the US on July 17 at 9 AM PST / 12 PM ET. Priced at $245, it will be available through C2H4’s online store and the Casio US website. The watch has already launched in China and will see a global release. It's expected to make its way to the UK and Europe at a later date.
