The highly anticipated C2H4 x G-Shock collaboration watch, officially titled "The Space Age" GM-5600 Edition, is now available for purchase. Priced at $285, the unique timepiece merges C2H4’s futuristic fashion tone with the classic G-Shock design. We previously covered the first official reveal of the collab here.
The GM-5600 “The Space Age” edition features a semi-transparent strap paired with a forged metal bezel. Its bold, industrial aesthetic aligns with the space-age theme that C2H4 has embraced for this special edition. A standout feature is the "LAX Theme Building Backlit" design, which is a nod to futuristic architecture and aviation history. Shock-resistant construction ensures the watch can handle everyday wear and tear. It’s water-resistant up to 20 bars (approximately 200 meters), making it suitable for swimming and snorkeling. The digital interface is both practical and visually striking.
C2H4’s announcement of the launch was accompanied by a unique marketing campaign featuring the tagline, “Open the Time Capsule, Start Your Journey in Time.” The campaign prominently showcases a retro-futuristic time capsule which complements the watch’s aesthetic quite well. Promotional materials tie the watch design to a "vision of the future". C2H4’s social media announcement also aligns with this, inviting users to "let the journey begin."
The GM-5600 “The Space Age” edition comes with a specially designed capsule-inspired case. The case complements the overall theme of the watch/for collectors and those drawn to unique design elements.
The watch is now live on C2H4’s website and select retailers. With limited quantities available, this collaboration is expected to sell out quickly.
