Casio has launched two brand-new additions to its G-Shock lineup, the GA-2100RL-1A and the GA-110RL-1A. These watches are just two more in the long list of new Casio models that have shown up this month so far, including the Casio A130WE-1AEF, and the neon-themed series.
The GA-2100RL-1A continues the legacy of the popular GA-2100 series. Known for its streamlined octagonal bezel, this watch features a carbon and bio-based resin construction. Despite its lightweight frame of just 51 grams, the watch is built to withstand extreme conditions, with 200-meter water resistance and a shock-resistant Carbon Core Guard structure.
Key features include:
- Double LED lighting for clear visibility in low-light conditions.
- World Time functionality, covering 31 time zones, daylight savings, and city swapping.
- A full auto-calendar extending to the year 2099.
- Battery life of three years on dual SR726W cells.
Design-wise, the GA-2100RL-1A employs a color palette with G-Shock red, blue, and yellow accents, each symbolizing passion, water resistance, and shock resistance, respectively. The watch looks suitable for both casual or semi-formal settings.
For those who prefer bold designs, the GA-110RL-1A delivers with its large case dimensions (55 x 51.2 x 16.9 mm) and a 72-gram weight. This watch boasts both shock and magnetic resistance.
Standout features include:
- 1/1000-second stopwatch, with modes for elapsed, lap, and split times, along with speed and distance input capabilities
- World Time coverage, supporting 29 time zones with added features like auto-repeat timers.
- Amber LED light for an easy-to-read display in the dark.
- Dual analog-digital readouts.
Similar to the GA-2100RL-1A, this model uses bio-based resin for its case and band, maintaining durability while reducing environmental impact. Both watches feature the iconic G-Shock design ethos but cater to different styles. The GA-2100RL-1A leans more toward minimalism, while the GA-110RL-1A is designed for users who prefer bold, statement pieces. Both models have Neobrite technology for improved visibility and are 20-bar water-resistant, which makes them ideal for professional and leisure activities alike.
Casio hasn't announced any pricing or availability info for these two watches yet.
