Casio launches new G-Shock GM-S2100 metal-clad octagonal watches

Casio has launched three new G-Shock GM-S2100 series watches in Japan: the GM-S2110B-8AJF, the GM-S2110PG-1A4JF and the GM-S2110PG-4AJF. Like other models in this range, such as the GM2100-1A (curr. $183.95 at Amazon), the wearable features an octagonal metal watch face.

The GM-S2110B-8AJF has a black ion-plated stainless bezel with a matching black resin strap. The GM-S2110PG watches have a “pink gold” (rose gold) ion-plated bezel; the GM-S2110PG-1A4JF has a matching pink/beige band, while the GM-S2110PG-4AJF has a black strap.

All three models have the same features, offering world time for 48 cities. Tools include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a timer and five alarms. A white LED backlight makes it easier to read the display in low lighting, and the shock resistant watch is also water resistant to 20 ATM. According to Casio, the wearables’ battery will run for around three years.

The Casio G-Shock GM-S2110B-8AJF, GM-S2110PG-1A4JF, and GM-S2110PG-4AJF watches are now available in Japan for ¥32,450 (~$205). While the company is not yet selling these wearables at its online stores in other countries, product listings in the US, the UK, and the Netherlands indicate that these models will become available more widely in the near future, retailing for around $211/£167.20/€249.
