The Casio GAB2100CD1A7 and GAB2100CD1A4 watches are now available in the US. The wearables were announced last year when they began to roll out in other markets like Europe; here, they are known as the GA-B2100CD-1A7 and the GA-B2100CD0-1A4.
These GAB2100CD models have been designed in collaboration with the Charles Darwin Foundation. They are said to be inspired by the Galapagos marine iguana and the Galapagos penguin, which the organization seeks to protect. The GAB2100CD1A4 has a red and black bio-based resin casing and strap, while the GAB2100CD1A7 is white and black.
Features of these two 2100 Series wearables include Tough Solar charging to extend the battery life beyond seven months. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, users get Casio Watches app-based tools like reminders and phone finder, as well as automatic time adjustments. They also offer 38 world time zones, an LED backlight, a stopwatch, a countdown timer and daily alarms.
You can now buy the Casio GAB2100CD1A7 and GAB2100CD1A4 watches at the brand’s online store in the US for $170. This is the same RRP as other similar models like the GAB2100CT-5A, though this wearable is currently reduced to $136 at Amazon.
