Amazfit has released a new update for the T-Rex 3 smartwatch. Software version 3.4.4.7 was reported by u/Ech0ke on Reddit. It follows the release of version 3.3.7.1 for the wearable, which arrived in December.
According to the change log for version 3.4.4.7, the T-Rex 3 gains a Hyrox PFT preset, an official test that can help users find out their fitness level and therefore which race category they should enter. There is also a new Snow plowing workout, and the watch map can now show information relating to points of interest, marking them as restaurants, restrooms, hospitals and stores. There is an additional notification asking you if you want to continue your workout when the watch detects a prolonged pause; this is currently only for Outdoor running, Walking and Outdoor cycling activities.
Plus, Zepp Coach can now assist you with directions and other workout functions. Other minor improvements and bug fixes are listed later in the release notes (see images below). Many users note that they have yet to receive the update, suggesting that this is a phased rollout. Unfortunately, it is unclear when all units of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch (curr. $279.99 at Amazon) will receive the update.
